History

Our vision is to inspire students to pursue educational and career opportunities in science, technology, and engineering through competing in the FIRST competitions, including FTC and FRC. The Roswell High School Robotics Team was founded in 2001 with a mission to inspire students to pursue educational and career opportunities in science, technology, and engineering through competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Each year, we design, model and build a unique complex robot on time within a tight budget and under rigid engineering constraints. Roswell Robotics was founded as Chimera by Roswell Student Paul Luffel and physics teacher Bill Reed with eight students. Oscar now has 40 members and 7 mentors.
